4. Online Counselling
Sessions are available online via Google Meet or WhatsApp, both of which are safe and secure platforms. For full details on confidentiality, please refer to my working agreement. The key terms are summarised below:

All online sessions are conducted in a private, quiet space to ensure confidentiality and support. I encourage you to choose a similar setting for your comfort and ease when discussing sensitive topics.

Recording of Sessions: Sessions are not to be recorded, either in video or audio format, by you or me. It is also not permissible to publicise or share the content of our discussions with any third party.
5. Blog Content
The blog content on this website is for informational purposes only. The posts reflect my personal experiences, therapeutic techniques, and thoughts on mental health. The content is not intended as professional advice or a substitute for counselling services. Always consult with a qualified professional before making decisions related to your mental health.
6. Confidentiality and Sharing Your Data
All personal data shared during counselling sessions will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). I do not share a client's personal data with third parties, except when required by law or where necessary for the administration of our services (e.g., payment processing through secure third-party platforms). Clients data is kept confidential and will not be used for any marketing purposes without consent.
However, I may be required to disclose certain information under legal or ethical obligations. In such cases, I will seek consent unless there are exceptional circumstances where consent cannot be obtained.
I take data security seriously. My devices are protected with updated antivirus software, and I encourage clients to ensure that their own devices and accounts are also secure, using updated antivirus software and strong passwords for protection.
7. Payment and Cancellation Policy

Payment: Payment for counselling sessions is required in advance or at the time of the session, unless otherwise agreed. Accepted payment methods include [insert payment options].

Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule your session with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session or failure to attend will incur the full session fee.

If you need to contact me between sessions, please do so via text at 07713 239515 or email at sp.yourinneralchemy.uk@gmail.com. I will respond during my private practice operating hours as time allows.
Please note, I do not provide crisis or emergency services. If you are in distress or need immediate support, contact your GP, NHS 111, emergency services, or the Samaritans at jo@samaritans.org or by phone at 116 123 (available day or night).
9. Limitation of Liability
While I make every effort to provide accurate and helpful information, Your Inner Alchemy does not assume responsibility for any consequences arising from the use of the information provided on the website or during counselling sessions.
